"Jeopardy!" often features witty clues, but doesn't often editorialize. But on Wednesday's show, it seemed that a clue-writer may have had more than enough of country singer Taylor Swift and her musical focus on her exes.

The clue was, "2009's best female country vocal went to her for 'White Horse,' where (SHOCKER!) she goes off on an ex-boyfriend."

Swift's been noted in the past for her songs regarding relationships that ended, often with famous names. In 2010, she told British newspaper The Independent that "the thing about my personal relationships is I usually feel much more comfortable talking about them in music. That's what I do. The only way that I know how to deal with anything in life, and process feelings and thoughts about anything that affects me, is to write songs about it."

The singer recently defended her relationships in Vanity Fair, noting that she's only had two serious relationships since 2010.

She also told the magazine, ""For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that?s taking something that potentially should be celebrated -- a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way -- that?s taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist."
